Inside a Mellencamp wedding
A seven-page spread of photos from Teddi Mellencamp's Brown County
wedding appears in the Spring issue of "Inside Weddings."

The magazine provides an inside view of Mellencamp's June 4 marriage to Matthew
Robertson in the article that starts out "Little ditty about .
. ."
Considering how very hush-hush the family kept the nuptials, the photos and
story provide a glimpse of the Mellencamp clan's festivities. There is a sweet
photo of the bride's dad, John Mellencamp, getting a smooch from Teddi and another
of him singing at the reception.
Lexington, Ky.-based Mark Cornelison was the wedding photographer. A list of
credits, from the bridal gown designer (Lasaro) to where the couple registered
for gifts (Bloomingdale's, Pottery Barn, Williams-Sonoma) is included in the
article.
Kelly Early, who runs Thomas Caterers of Distinction in Indianapolis, was the
local bridal coordinator handling the celebration's event planning and food
service. Early, who is one of four certified event planners at Thomas Caterers,
has started doing a lot more full-service bridal consulting lately.
The bride, who is public relations director for the Los Angeles boutique Intuitions,
and her new husband live in California, but they never considered having the
wedding on the West Coast.
"From day one, we knew it would be at my dad's house in Indiana,"
she told magazine writer Jacquelyn Kisker.
The magazine hits the stands Tuesday Dec. 26.
