 Force is the product of mass and acceleration of a body.

    Force  = mass x acceleration  

 The unit of mass = kg

                    acceleration  = m/s²

So;

      1N  = 1kgm/s²

Therefore, the unit of force is newtons and 1N is equal to  1kgm/s²
