Hi there,

So basically finding the average is adding up all the numbers and dividing that total by how many numbers there are.
So with this problem it would be:
12+9+11+8+9+12+9=70
Then divide it by 7 because there are 7 numbers
70/7=10

Therefore the average is 10.
